Olivero Designs is a small, family-run jewelry studio devoted to bespoke custom engagement rings, pendants, earrings, coins, signet rings, cufflinks, and engraved keepsakes. We work slowly. We work by hand. We focus exclusively on design.
THE MAKER
How did I get here?
When we were young boys, my brother and I were always building and creating things in our garage. Whether we were modifying bicycles, making our own skateboards, or experimenting with new projects, we loved working with our hands. My grandfather often joined us, teaching us the basics of metal cutting and soldering—skills that would later shape my career.
One summer, I had a chance encounter with a jeweler who urgently needed an apprentice in his custom fabrication shop. That opportunity changed the course of my life. I quickly discovered that jewelry combined everything I loved: craftsmanship, creativity, and working with metal to create something meaningful.
I went on to study Jewelry Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology and later earned my Graduate Gemologist diploma from the Gemological Institute of America. Years later, I was honored to return to FIT as an instructor, teaching Gemology in their Jewelry Design Associate Degree Program.
For more than 30 years, I have designed and created custom jewelry for clients around the world, including celebrities, collectors, and private individuals. Based in New York City, Olivero Designs allows me to stay connected to the latest trends while maintaining a commitment to timeless craftsmanship.
What continues to inspire me is the opportunity to transform a client's story, milestone, or memory into a piece of jewelry that can be treasured for generations. That's the true excitement—and privilege—of custom jewelry design.
