THE MODERN SIGNET
A signet for the way you actually live
Heritage form. Contemporary weight.
The signet is the oldest piece of personal jewellery in the Western tradition. Ours is rebuilt for the modern hand: cleaner proportions, heavier metal, and an engraving cut deep enough to last generations.
THE DESIGN
Made for one person. Never repeated.
A signet should feel like something you have always worn. We design ours with a slightly oversized face, a quietly tapered shank, and a hand-engraved crest, monogram, family arms, or original mark cut by a specialist seal engraver.
Every commission begins as a pencil drawing, refined until the face geometry and proportions sit correctly on your hand. We then sculpt, cast and finish the ring in solid 18k gold — never plated, never hollow.
Signets are most often commissioned to mark a beginning: a graduation, a child, a new chapter in business. They are designed to be worn every day and passed down without apology.

Yes. Send us a photograph or wax impression and we will redraw it for hand engraving.

Intaglio if you intend to use the signet as an actual seal in wax; surface for purely worn detail. Both are offered.

Most modern signets we make sit between 14g and 22g of 18k gold — substantial, but balanced for daily wear.
